We have a shock absorbing dance floor in our shooting area for worry free jumping.

We are proud to accommodate larger groups with our custom built 16 ft background.

Make Up Table
Our make up table is well lit and fully stocked. We have hair styling tools, makeup and accessories.
Bodywork Tools
Rollers, calf stretchers, balls, thera-bands, weights, balance boards, yoga mats…yeah we’ve got it.
Private Bathroom
Our bathroom is all gendered, clean & private. Just ask to use our shower & we’ll provide the towel.
Water, Coffee & Tea
We have filtered and temperature controlled water here as well as a self-serve Krureg with tea & coffee.
High Speed WiFi
Just point your camera phone at the QR Code framed on the walls of our studio to log into our wifi.
Phone Charging
Visit our phone charging station. We have both Apple & Android chargers, new & old.
Steamer
Our shooting area is equipped with an industrial steamer, a coat rack and a table for you to use.
Directions
Studio810 is conveniently located just minutes from Manhattan in Jersey City’s Powerhouse Arts District. Simply search “Jaqlin Medlock Photography” on Google Maps for exact directions from your home. The closet public transit is the Grove Street PATH train
Parking
There is free and metered street parking throughout the Historic Powerhouse Art District in downtown Jersey City, as well as a multitude of paid parking garages, both indoor and outdoor.

Virtual Consultations
Let’s talk about your photography needs face to face via Zoom. I want to help you get exactly what you need, within your budget, and make sure everyone involved is comfortable with what we decide to do.
Front Door Sanitizing Station
Our entry way has a sanitizing station equipment with hand sanitizer, disinfectant wipes & sprays and optional disposable gloves. Please leave everything not needed for the shoot on the entryway coat rack.
Touch Free Booking & Payment
After our consultation you’ll receive a customizable quote that walks you through our easy and 100% touch free booking process. You’ll have convenient online access to your contracts and payment records.
Limited Shoot Sizes
No need to stress about going to a shoot with lots of people, our shoots now have a maximum of 10 people. Your session will be just for you, with only the essential people around. For groups photoshoots we schedule smartly to limit the number of people in the studio.
Social Distancing Guidelines
We now have safety guidelines in place at the studio that are compliant with CDC infection control regulations. We will maintain a safe distance of 6ft apart at all times, wear masks when appropriate and have hand sanitizer available throughout the studio.
Frequent Studio Disinfecting
The entire studio including the bathroom, viewing areas, lounge, shooting areas, makeup station, kitchen, front door and hallway have been deep cleaned in compliance with CDC guidelines. All surfaces and handles will be disinfected before and after visitor.
Pre-Session Temperature Checks
The CDC recommends businesses conduct temperature checks to help identify people with COVID-19. We will be taking our temperature before each shoot to ensure your safety and we ask that you do the same for us from the comfort of your own home.
No Symptoms of Sickness
Photoshoots will occur only if everyone involved has a temperature of 100.3 degrees or less and is experiencing no symptoms of sickness. To limit exposure, we will email you, and all involved, a questionnaire to be completed and returned the morning of your shoot.
No Fee Rescheduling
As per our usual contractual agreement, we do not charge to reschedule a photoshoot, only to cancel completely. We will determine if the shoot will proceed as scheduled 3 hours prior to your scheduled arrival time, upon receipt of our COVID-19 Questionnaire from all involved.
Pre Set Studio
We generally start setting up for your photoshoot about 2 hours before you arrive. When you arrive for your session we will be ready for you! This will help us limit the amount of time at the studio and give us the ability to start shooting right away.
Wall Mounted Live Time Viewing
Our studio has multiple large monitors setup for live time viewing of the photos being taken. All guests can spread out between our lounge area and shooting space without missing a thing or being anywhere near the photographer.
Certified Makeup Artists
We work with makeup artists that have been certified by Barbicide, The Global Leader of Disinfection in the Professional Beauty Industry. The makeup artists will wear masks and gloves at all times and maintain a clean and sanitized workstation.
