Studio 810
Studio 810 was born from the need for a functional and inspiring space that matched my creative energy. After years of renting photo studios that didn’t align with my vibe, I shared my frustration with my husband, and he knew exactly where to take me—150 Bay Street, the place he had called home years before we met. Together, we transformed it into our dream live/work space.
At Studio 810, function and design come together to support all aspects of creativity. Every corner of this space is carefully crafted to encourage efficiency and versatility, whether for a photoshoot, design projects, or simply as a place to relax and unwind. It’s a space where you can feel at ease, grounded, and inspired.
Every design choice was made with intention, creating a balanced environment where form and function work together seamlessly. Studio 810 is my personal creative haven, and I’m excited to share that energy with you.

Studio Amenities
Dance Floor
We have a shock absorbing dance floor in our shooting area for worry free jumping.
Dressing Room
We cleverly transformed a supply closet into a very cool private dressing room.
Live Photo Viewing
Live time photo viewing available for self-correction and from our lounge area.
Space for Groups
We are proud to accommodate larger groups with our custom built 16 ft background.
Music Control
Play any song available on Apple Music on our state of the art sound system iPad.
Make Up Table
Spacious enough for multiple people, with customizable lighting and easy access to a closet system for belongings.
Bodywork Tools
Rollers, calf stretchers, balls, thera-bands, weights, balance boards, yoga mats…yeah we’ve got it.
Private Bathroom
Our bathroom is all gendered, clean & private. Just ask to use our shower & we’ll provide the towel.
Water, Coffee & Tea
We have filtered and temperature controlled water here as well as a self-serve Krureg with tea & coffee.
High Speed WiFi
Just point your camera phone at the QR Code framed on the walls of our studio to log into our wifi.
Phone Charging
Visit our phone charging station. We have both Apple & Android chargers, new & old.
Steamer
Our shooting area is equipped with an industrial steamer, a coat rack and a table for you to use.
Directions
Studio810 is conveniently located just minutes from Manhattan in Jersey City’s Powerhouse Arts District. Simply search “Jaqlin Medlock Photography” on Google Maps for exact directions from your home. The closet public transit is the Grove Street PATH train
Parking
There is free and metered street parking throughout the Historic Powerhouse Art District in downtown Jersey City, as well as a multitude of paid parking garages, both indoor and outdoor.
